2025 Plan Your Own Enterprise Competition is now running.

All details are included on the BEA website with entries being accepted from now through to September.

Victorian Law Foundation

The Victorian Law Foundation offer a range of relevant educational resources that align to the curriculum. 

Case Study Factsheets:

McBain v Victoria case study factsheet and Grant v Australian Knitting Mills case study factsheet

These two resources are great examples of how students should analyse other cases relevant to their VCE studies.

Model Criminal Trial, Death at Blue Hills:

This suite of resources includes a Model Criminal Trial with a suggested script and a set of case facts and witness statements to enable facilitation of a mock criminal trial in the classroom. It also includes explanatory notes which are relevant to Unit 1 AOS 3 and explanations for the rules of evidence during a Victorian Criminal Trial.

Civics - free professional learning: Friday 6 June

The Victorian Electoral Commission is offering a free professional learning day for teachers of Years 5 - 10. It offers time to learn and connect, share ideas and access resources to help you become a civics specialist in your school.                                          


Ecstra - Financial Education in Schools: Tuesday 20 May, 12:30pm

The Ecstra Foundation's national financial education in schools survey results will be presented later this month via an online webinar.

Join the webinar to hear how young Australians are learning about money, what topics they want to understand better and teacher and parent views on the effectiveness of financial education.
