Werribee Open Range Zoo - VCE Business Management Elephant Experience
Zoos Victoria and the VCTA would like to welcome VCTA members for a behind the scene look at Zoos Victoria's newest program offering for VCE Business Management. Based at Werribee Open Range Zoo, this program offers teachers and students alike a real-world look into the complex decision-making and stakeholder management of the Elephant Trial managing legal, ethical and social considerations in its operations system. On Wednesday 17 June, Werribee Open Range Zoo will be hosting up to 22 VCTA and BEA members for this tour including a review of: - the VCE Business Management Program with an in-depth look at the Elephant Precinct (allow 70 minutes), and - a safari bus tour (allow 60 minutes) Please note, this is an all weather event, so delegates are advised to wear closed-toe shoes, and BYO wet weather gear in case of rain. The VCTA has arranged for a private charter bus to pick delegates up from Monash College on Collins Street, Melbourne CBD at 1:00pm and will return no later than 6:00pm, exact pick up and drop off points will be provided upon registration. For delegates wishing to make their own way to the Zoo, please advise the VCTA during registration. Delegates are also ask to advise the VCTA of any accessibility needs as these can be accommodated with Zoos Victoria.
