BEA national conference 2012 Call for Papers closes 1 March 2012
The Business Educators Australasia (BEA) conference Informed and prepared for 21st century learning will be held in Sydney on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 October 2012. Organised by VCTA in conjunction with Economics and Business Educators NSW, the conference provides an excellent forum to be fully updated on the Australian Curriculum and its implications for business and economics education and associated curriculum areas.
It will also provide a forum to hear, engage and network with colleagues and speakers from industry and other organisations and on issues surrounding education best practice.
Integral to the program is an extensive range of sessionson informing the teaching and learning of economics and business education, including a focus on
• economic activity and trends
• business development and trends
• legal education
• civics and citizenship education
• consumer and financial literacy
• social networking
• using Web 2.0
• best practice pedagogy.
