VCTA invites educators and those from business, industry, government and community organisations to present at Comview. Applications close Wednesday 30 June 2010.

The Comview2010 program will focus on:
- VCE Accounting
- Business Management
- Economics
- Industry & Enterprise
- Legal Studies
- Victorian Essential Learning Standards Years 7–10
- Vocational education
- Australian (national) curriculum
- Education policy and direction
- Pedagogy: enhancing business studies teaching and learning.
Application criteria
VCTA invites educators and those from business, industry, government and community organisations to present at Comview. Priority will be given to those which meet one or more of the following criteria where sessions:
- address the needs of VCE and VELS business education
- enhance the discipline knowledge of teachers
- provide strategies that improve student outcomes
- demonstrate incorporation of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development’s e5 Instructional Model into classroom practice
- are inclusive of strategies to incorporate Asia literacy
- address classroom activities inclusive of issues relating to sustainability
- illustrate rich learning opportunities for students
- incorporate Web 2.0 technologies that enhance student learning.
Site visits
City-based organisations are invited to host on-site short visits which focus on issues directly relevant to the business educators’ classroom.
Presenter information
- Presenters are entitled to a day’s free registration on the day of their presentation
- Sessions of 60 minutes duration are limited to a maximum of two presenters; 90 minutes to three presenters
- Presenters with a presentation of 20–30 minutes only are very welcome to apply (as this may be combined with another presentation)
- No CRT, travel, accommodation and the like is available
- Presenters will be asked to indicate their equipment needs upon confirmation of their presentation
- Presenters are welcome to supply their own handouts for distribution to participants; VCTA will not be copying handouts on behalf of presenters
- Presenters will be requested to provide a paper for upload for Comview registrants, the upload to occur immediately upon completion of Comview.
