CPA Australia is hosting an event to introduce your students to the wide number of opportunities available to professional accountants. The purpose is to provide students with an interesting and fun learning experience that focuses on the world of business, accounting and finance.
We are pleased to invite you and another teacher (albeit career advisor, principal, vice principal or head co-ordinator) and up to 3 of your Year 10 students to attend a panel discussion on accounting careers.
Panellists will talk about their journey from finishing high school to building a high-paying, successful professional career. Representing different sectors, the panellists will talk about the things that matter to students: money, career development, travel opportunities, and being passionate about what you do.
It will be a fantastic opportunity for your students to hear from, and be inspired by, everyday business leaders who love what they do.
Following the panel session, there will be an opportunity for students to ask questions of the panellists. We also encourage you to submit questions prior to the event so the panellists can respond to them for the benefit of the larger group.
