Civics and Citizenship, April 2013, Jenny Cas
In this unit of work students will examine how Victoria’s adult parole system operates and research recent changes in the law that aim to tighten the system. They will consider a range of views about the reforms, including those of the families of victims of parolees and groups that provide support services to parolees, and form their own opinion about the need for change. They will also investigate the process of how a law is made.
